A Careful Look Shows Slight Variances
The iPhone 5s (A1533, A1453, etc.) and 5c (A1456, A1532) are very popular, just like any other iPhone model. But, many people probably aren’t even aware that there are different versions of the 5. So what are the differences between the 5s and the 5c? Is one a better buy than the other? Here, we take a look for you:
First and foremost, the physical difference you will first see is that the iPhone 5s lacks a rounded square icon on the home button. The iPhone 5c does have this, though. The iPhone 5s can be set up with a biometric identification. You will notice that it has a Touch ID button when the other one does not.
The iPhone 5c is slightly thicker than the iPhone 5s. The back camera for the iPhone 5s has better quality than the 5c. They are supposed to have identical battery lives and standby times, same megapixels for cameras and are very similar in weight, with the iPhone 5c weighing slightly more, which makes sense because it is a bit thicker.
So, you won’t notice much of a difference between these two models, but if you are looking for more advanced technology, then the iPhone 5s takes the cake because of its Touch ID feature, which is really cool and offers an added layer of protection to users. If you purchase either one, you are not likely to be disappointed.
